Still rocking it!

It’s been since summer 2015 since I last reviewed Bold & Italic. I had to check them out again, just to see if they are still rocking it. It was rather quiet for a Wednesday afternoon, there were only a few customers. The menu is fantastic and the only problem is that we had to limit our selections as we can’t order everything. Every dinner set serves with starter, hot drink and dessert as usual.

The meal was off to an exciting start with an appetizer of Borscht Soup and toast.

The Smoked Salmon, crab meat spaghetti (with lobster sauce) was alright, the salmon were lightly overcooked.

Their specialty tea is a rose tea that sounds weird but is very, very good. The Rose pairs great with Yuzu. (MUST order)

The strawberry roll  is a delicate refreshing cake perfect for all. Light and airy.  I could seriously eat it with the whipped cream every single day and not get sick of it.

My friends said it  was a rather small portion considering the price but it's enough for me.
The staff was over-the-top friendly and attentive .
We had an awesome time!

Happy Mid Autumn Festival

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival to all lovelies!

Mid-Autumn Festival is on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar (usually in September), when the moon is at fullest and brightest. It is the grandest celebration the Chinese have after the Chinese New Year.
Lantern.
What a feast!
Amidst the hectic pace of modern life, we often forget the importance of family, the festival offers a great opportunity for people to reunite. It is traditionally celebrated with a feast, moon cakes and the brightly coloured lanterns.

Sunday Stealing: The Alice Through the Looking Glass Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes (or surveys) from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor among thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. When possible, we contact the owner of the blog where we stole the post. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme. Cheer to all of us thieves!!

Doodley-Do Meme

Stolen from: i take surveys

Do you keep notes, drawings or letters that people give you? Yes always, I've a bundle of letters that my friends sent me.

How many true best friends are present in your life? At least 5.

Do you currently have a significant other?  No

Would you be able to stand being in the same room as someone you hate? Yes.

Have you ever lost a close friend? Yes. We never talked to each other again and this is sad.

Has anybody ever held a grudge against you for a dumb reason? of course.

Have you ever stayed up late talking to someone you like on the phone or online? I used to, years ago and now I'd rather go to bed hahaa.

Have you ever felt backstabbed by a close friend? I think yes but don't really remember when.

Have you ever regretted ignoring anybody? Yes.

Has a friend of yours ever confessed their love to you? Yes.

Have you written or drawn anything for somebody else? OF course.

Do you tend to hide your emotions from certain people? How do you hide them? It depends.

Do your friends know how to make you smile in tough times? Some of them.

Could you picture yourself on a reality TV show? Oh no! But what kind of reality show?

Don’t call this the city of romance for nothing

Overall, the trip was a blast. Although my friends warned me that it would disappoint before the trip - too crowded, too dirty, and too touristy most said, every spot you go, you walk deeper into some real-life watercolor painting that can always capture a nice picture. It's like no place else I've ever been.
There are lots of canals and sidewalks, fanciful bridges, and of course, colourful-vivid buildings.

One step forward or backward?

I feel that time flies so BLOODY fast, I’ve been struggling for publishing blog post, not because I don't want to  (I always have ideas overflowing and wanted to share it to y'all) but there are days where my mind is totally filled with work, relationships, miscellaneous tiny things  and now I'm feeling so unmotivated.

Anyway, these pictures sum up my recent adventures :)

Met my sis and friend in London last weekend and we had Japanese at Eat Tokyo for lunch nearby China Town.  I actually really liked the sides, for the whole set is just £8.50.

I'm still trying to find a fine balance between work and play. I think lots of our successes in life will simply boil down to persistence and dedication… also a good time management.
